New C&R purchases?

OK what has everyone bought lately?

After the 2 non-C&R handgun purchases recently I have not bought a thing.
Im really looking hard at the mosin snipers from IO though.

Have not got anything since the K31. been low on funds but i may have to break some free for a Nagant revolver soon.

Nothing C&R lately. PA63, P64 and a Ewbanks AKM receiver are the last three purchases.

Oh, I did get another case of Wolf HP 7.62x39 at Gander Mtn.

I have a 1903 MkI Springfield and another Garand coming from the CMP sometime soon.

Not C&R but I did snatch a Savage 300 Win Mag plus Bushnell scope today for $225. The rifle looks brand new and has 4 deer under it's belt but tell me this,,,,,,,,,, is there any reason why I shouldn't let this go tomorrow afternoon for $350?

I really want a real reach out and touch someone bolt action rifle, but I want a heavy barrel. Fluted if I can find a deal.

300 Win Mag is perfect for that.Why not just hunt down the barrel you want and get her rebarreled?

If someone could point me in the right direction for a barrel w/reasonable prices I would be willing to do just that. I've spent all afternoon googling online with no luck at all. I may need someone to hold my hand and post a link or two.

75_stingray Im sure someone here knows more about that than I do.How about Brownells or Midway perhaps?Has to be barrels out there somewhere.It sure beats having to sell your rifle and start over from scratch.

Sign up at that forum and I'll bet ya someone there can help. You might even pick up a bargain on a used barrel like you want that someone has taken off because they wanted a different caliber.
