Ah, sweet temptation. Did they mess up the grip angle?

I thought 1911 was .45 ACP.

Plus not sure if the price has come down but Glock mags were always a tad higher $$ than any standard 1911 mags I checked on?
Advantage I see is if you have a Glock in .45 you can interchange.

Call it a 1911 design but not a 1911. Yeah, I've seen them in .380, 9mm .38 and .45 ACP....I think there is a .22 somewhere.

Saint John Moses Browning did design a M1911 in 9mm, and Colt produced them so it is not completely heretical.
My Grandpa had one. At a family barbecue one time, he drew and shot a cottontail rabbit with it - head shot. He holstered his pistol, took a sip of his scotch and said, "You boys fetch that rabbit and clean it and toss it on the grill." My cousin inherited that pistol. He wound up carrying it when he got promoted out of the jail and to a bailiff position with the county. Now he's the Chief Warden or whatever the bigshot is called in jail system. |
