Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Ah, sweet temptation. Did they mess up the grip angle?

Advantage I see is if you have a Glock in .45 you can interchange.

Because the original Luger design was created right here in the U.S. of A.
Mr. Brownings gun won the military over and Luger was off to Europe.

Call it a 1911 design but not a 1911. Yeah, I've seen them in .380, 9mm .38 and .45 ACP....I think there is a .22 somewhere.

Saint John Moses Browning did design a M1911 in 9mm, and Colt produced them so it is not completely heretical.

My Grandpa had one. At a family barbecue one time, he drew and shot a cottontail rabbit with it - head shot. He holstered his pistol, took a sip of his scotch and said, "You boys fetch that rabbit and clean it and toss it on the grill."

My cousin inherited that pistol. He wound up carrying it when he got promoted out of the jail and to a bailiff position with the county. Now he's the Chief Warden or whatever the bigshot is called in jail system.

I have a Rock Island Armory in .40 S&W.

The 1911 platform also has 10mm.
