Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

What Howa set up did you purchase? I was looking at this in 6.5.

I bought the Howa Legacy APC Chassis with the 'Greyscale' cerakote model (it's black & grey). 6.5mm Creedmoor.

Click the 4th dot from the left under this rifle (the RW&B one), to see what mine looks like.

ETA: I have NOT changed out the scope yet.

I LOVE the rifle as is. However, most of my friends use scopes that read in Mils, not MOA. THAT, is the only reason I'm looking to change.

They're more proficient with scopes than I am, and since they're used to Mils, it'd be easier for them to teach me, without the trouble of converting Mils to MOA (for my scope settings).

That said, within the first 25-30 rounds I put through my 6.5, I was hitting steel at 1000 yards.

I did change out the bipod. It came with a 6"-9". I put a 9" - 13" on it so I can shoulder if it little more comfortably, on the shooting bench.

I put the 6" - 9" bipod on a 20" HB AR chambered in 5.56. I only shoot 20 round mags out of that rifle.
