Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I never saw it but the word was coming down from the fly boy birddogs who were missing them with their devices.
I wonder how the super high end stuff like the military uses now would do??

Might try this

https://whatacountry.com/anpvs-2nightvisionscope.aspx

The A/N PVS-2, early Night Vision, Vietnam era but served into the late 80s with US Army.

Can get AR or M14 mounts too.

Enforcer that looks like the ones they gave us Gen. 1?? In defense of the govt. they were trying to get us all the help we could use. But? We refused to use them as they were not worth a damn.
One could see better at night without them. They taught us to not stare direct on at an object at night but to turn a bit and use our peripheral vision. Be damned it worked not great but better.
Unless they improved that Gen. 1 I would not waste money.

A buddy has one of their Endosnake bore inspection devices that you can plug into your smart phone, and run it down the bore of any firearm. It does a pretty good job.

Maybe try these binos below........

I know this is an old thread, but that is a nice setup. The wife and I have Team Wendy bump helmets with PVS14s. Hers is the the green and mine is the white phosphor...which IMO is the superior one.

We also bought a Taipan Thermal Imaging monocular mostly used to locate our cattle and other animals out on the property when we need to find them. It's the TM25-384 model which I chose for the ability to focus the objective lens, however, the specs are not up to handling the 8x zoom, but at 1x we can clearly see and identify the animals out to 400 yards.

I think both have their place and while the NV is the more elegant, one can easily defeat it by the use of camo even out in the open. The TI, though, will find that same person easily and in short order. Pretty much the only way to defeat TI is to stand behind glass or some other large object that will not allow the emitted heat signature to bloom out.

Anyway...I kinda love this topic and tech and find it fun to use.

55 gallon Mogas with Claymore attached to it (front to the barrel), hear noise, push button. That will light your night up. A bit too drastic but it's effective. Or you can buy motion activated lights at Amazon.
