Kimber micro 380 ?
anyone that has one ?
when the hammer is cocked is your safety very stiff to put back on safe, but it comes off safe nice and smooth. Thanks for info. |

The bold goes over the round on a feed and JAMS the weapon up super tight. Hitting it in with your palm like a standard 1911 does not seat the mag all the way. You literally have to take your finger and push about a 1/8th in. to seat the mag. Taking apart to clean is easy putting it back together is a pain in the ass as explained in vid. one. Now did I like the weapon? Yes after the little idiosyncrasies were worked out. This may not pertain to your weapon but that was mine. Hope it helped let us know how you decide?

Can you attach a small mag bumper on the baseplate, 4th? That should give you the real estate needed to push it in all the way.
The .380 just does not have the performance of a 9mm in meat or gel, the problem being the .380 doesn't have the velocity to allow hollow points to expand. Plus, now days you can get a 9mm in the same size package as the .380. Also, for some reason, the .380 seems snappier and less controllable in the micro-sized packages than 9mm in similar sized guns. Pretty weird, I know. I originally started messing with the .380 when it was $5.00/50 because of the price after Shady Hook. Then the .380 got popular, and scarce. When it came back, it was priced about the same as .38 Special and 9mm premium rounds. Thus ended my adventures into .380. 9mm is the smallest caliber I'll mess with reloading. Those short cases are a pain in the ass, so I don't even pick up the .380's.

both the mags are the extended 7 rounders. and no you did not rain on my parade the pistol shoots great no problems at all, i look at the 9mm and it is slightly bigger and were i work it needs to be very concealable plus I have over 3000 rounds of 380
 and I have no problem with assembly or disassembly |

There are good ammo out there for the .380 that makes it almost as good as a 9mm, but I carry a 9mm.
