Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Pistol grips?

Are the grips on a SAA similar to a those on a 1872 open top Navy?

I don't much care for the furnished grips on my Ubirti made Navy. I replaced the funky grips on my Army already. Removed the one piece wooden grips and installed some heavy duty fake Ivory, two piece pimp grips. Piece of cake.

Or you could jazz it up with some gold bling and make it a country nig rig.

Will SAA grips fit my open top Navy? The..."vanilla"...OEM grips....just don't make my weiner wiggle. JeZus...paying more for custom grips than I paid for the popgun....is not gonna happen. Nice....but...damn...$$$$$.
I am going to sit down with my ..gat...and figure out how to remove the originals.

The Army model one piece grips...were ...clever. I will keep them as OEM parts are not cheap to buy.

Parts is parts....

https://taylorsfirearms.com/catalog/.../category/464/

If I got the right model, it looks like Taylors has the rough grips available for $14.75 and $15.00.

You could shape and finish them to your liking. I did that on one of my SAA that came with grips I didn't like.

Already ordered some "aged ivory" grips from Arizona. They should be here any day.

Cimmeron offers some movie gun look-alikes for sale....when the have them in stock.

I ordered the ...Magna Tusk...with no medallion and with the checkering. They have nice grips that fit perfectly. I thought about the ivory ones like I installed on my 1872 open-top Army...

But.....

A little variety never hurt a cowboy gun.
