Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Ruger MKIII pistol..

I decided to buy one of the blued 5" bull barrel, target models....Been drooling at them for awhile. Last one I had was a stainless steel with an integral silencer...fucked up and sold it to a buddy...My Grandkids really liked shooting those....

The prices on those now...are...HIGH.

I have had a number of them in the past. But...they were all the stainless steel integrally suppressed 10" bbl models..... I went price shopping on one of those... an SHIT....they have tripled in price... $$$$$.

So...fuck it...maybe as a Christmas gift to dow.... someday......

A man's gotta have a Ruger MkIII pistol.

I have an MK1 Ruger,,my dad bought it in the 60's sometime and then handed down to me.

originally it had the red grips but he didn't like the red and swapped them out,,seems those are worth a bit more too,,it is a blued one with a tapered barrel.

The only thing I don't like about the MKIII's is that's when they went with a trigger disconnect, and a different style magazine so you can't use MKII mags in it. Plus, the trigger disconnect makes the trigger more gritty, from what I've heard. I'm sure that problem has been solved, though.

Now an MKIV? *drool*

Enjoy it.

Thinking about getting a SA wheel gun in .22 for when the grandson gets a bit older. He's 4 now.

No kidding, right!

I read this thread a couple days ago and went and looked at the MK IV 'Hunter' model. They sure don't give them away! That's one sexy pistol though!

I've had a 6" MkIII for about a decade now.
Very accurate, will shoot any brand I put in it.
Unlike the 10-22 rifles, the MkIII pistols can fire hyper velocity ammo without damage.

I have a couple boxes of Remington Yellow Jackets, hyper velocity and the best expanding bullets I have ever seen. This ammo is not made anymore, if you come across some in a store, buy it.
I keep two mags loaded with it for those dark nights when the chickens are raising a ruckus and I need to go check things out.

I shot a mag out of the Ruger today....off the back porch......for shits and grins. Gonna have to set up some paper targets. It comes to hand very nicely. I was worried because I got some oversize mitts...and some guns just don't seem to fit well. I think I will keep it.
