Who has any experience with ACOG rifle scopes - Page 2

I received my TA 31F ACOG, today and will install it on my Sig when...I get done with my nap... It is a funky snowy day...a good day to watch zombie flicks and snooze.

My veteran Marine buddy swears by 'em....but I've never even looked through one apart from gunshows.......hefty investment.

ACOG scopes have proven themselves as being quite adept at killing jihadi...Field tested by the USMC and the US Army... If it is good enough for today's trigger pullers...it is good enough for me.

I had the SIG 550 and the ACOG out today for sighting in. I cheated and used a laser.

Mmmmm..I am going to have to get some walking shooting practice in with this ACOG...it will take some getting used to, for quick target and range/distance shooting.

Money well spent for an old fart who is half blind.

here is mine.., and don't forget the BAC, (Binder Aiming Concept) part.., keeping both eyes open, which is something i have done for many years.

I have three ACOGS mounted on various toys now. I am a believer. I have distributed enough lead using them to be very familiar with their use. It took awhile to grok the keeping both eyes open thing...but now...is NOT an issue.

I had the SIG out again today...Neighbor tried the ACOG. Now...he is sold on one. Beautiful sunny warm day. Good day to burn some IMR powder.

To validate the ACOG's fiber optics - I pulled my AR-15 out with the Burris MTAC on it last weekend, and the battery was dead. It was sunny, so didn't need the battery power, but if I did.....
