How to get rid of spider mites?

Just noticed my Lemon Verbena plant is overrun with these little bastards. They've been indoors for months now living in our kitchen under full spectrum LED's, I have no idea where they came from.

How do I get rid of them??

put a couple spoons of dishwashing liquid in a gallon of water and spray it.
Or go to Home Depot and buy Malathion

I use Malathion on my Gardenia and Night Jasmin, both are insect attracting, once every couple of weeks if infested, then once a month.

Red things look like aphids to me but the photo can’t be made out on my phone screen, aphids will have little legs underneath their body holding them up, spider mites move slowly when knocked off a leaf onto a piece of white paper
Dish soap a teaspoon to a gal will kill them as said, it keeps them from breathing
