Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Thumbs up Seafood boil

My wife and I went to my daughter's home today for her birthday. We cooked a cajun seafood boil for lunch. The boil had snow crab, mussels, shrimp, corn, pearl onions, broccoli, red potatoes, sausage and I can't remember the rest. We ended up with 2 huge trays (and more) of food that was delicious.

To think of all the free king crab, snow crab meat, Blue Crabmeat that I had to eat mornings setting up seafood cases for quality control over 34 years is a huge amount. Only fore shadowed buy having to endure rotten & rancid crap that should have been tossed the day before on my day off.

Being totally hung over setting a fish case early in the morning is a lot to ask of people. While meat markets are not without their personal stank, Seafood was always worse. Nasty pork & chicken first hand was better then cleaning meat cases long past their cleaning dates.

Having grown up in New England around all the shell fish we desired you have to be real real careful with expired shellfish.
Fresh caught cooked worth big bucks highly sought after. But damn don't let it sit out and snack on it later unless you have goooood health insurance.
Refrigerated or chilled like no problema now.

Stone Crab claws begin to spoil within minutes of being out of the water that's why it gets cooked right of way the same day it's caught and kept in ice at the boat, they have to be fast. Joe's Stone Crab in Miami has been in business since 1913 and they do it right.

That was a lot of food and it was very good. Several years back I wouldn't have thought about eating a lot of seafood at one sitting because of my gout. But my VA docs figured out which medication would work to control my uric acid so I can eat as much protein as I like anytime.

Yup I don't eat anything that has been dead awhile and not on ice cooked or not. I just got a bushel of oysters and read up on them. Those damn things will live a few weeks on ice they just don't want to give up the ghost.
Oh just watch Youtube how to shuck the damn things. Yeah right. So I bought a mechanical oyster shucker off Amazon. Works frigging great.

TDOCK Oyster Shucker Tool Set, Oyster Clam Opener Machine

Shucked oysters in container are still alive filtering their own waste.
