Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Really nasty outside.

Dark overcast, rainy non-stop and wind gusts of 30-40 mph and will get worst by tomorrow. I think that goes for most of us in the state. Freaking cold front clashing with a warm front....possible tornadoes. My dog refuses to go out, went to Walgreens and they let a cat go inside, poor thing was getting wet by the door. What a shitty weekend.

Already went to Publix and picked up a few things we were short on so the wife doesn't have to go out over the weekend.

It's been real windy here from a nor'easter with little rain so far. Tomorrow the bad weather from the Gulf is coming in until Sunday.

That'll give the Jaguars an excuse for losing to the Ravens Sunday.

What really got me concerned is my daughter and boyfriend going to a Miami Heat game tonight, the stadium is by the bay it gets flooded there and they are predicting tornadoes tonight for this area. That was her Christmas gift to the boyfriend so they have to go, plus she spent a lot of money on those tickets and parking, there is no stopping them. I'll guess I'll be on stand by with my truck to go bail them out, it's high enough to avoid any water.

We're supposed to get hit early in the morning, probably you too. It's raining and there is little wind right now. The weather people aren't calling it a tropical storm but it sure fits the pattern here.

Just wait until global climate change brings you fellas -20 degrees and 5 ft of snow. AKA northern Illinois weather.

we have two fronts colliding, cold and warm, that brings storms and tornadoes, it says it will be bad in the overnight hours. Have fun picking up tree branches tomorrow.

Yep. I don't mind winter. But I dislike the last couple of months when the snow turns to dirty slush and the ground is saturated with water.

Wife and I decided to settle in Michigan and eventually retire partially because of the weather. We like the change of seasons. Even some of the "nasty" weather has its place. We both like the snow. I think we get some of the most snowfall in the Nation, so you gotta like it or it's time to leave. Even a big thunderstorm is a spectacular event to watch. I never get tired of it.

There's an old joke about living in Michigan: "Michigan is blessed with absolutely beautiful Summers. I think last year is was on a Wednesday."

And there's actually some truth in that.

My rain gauge measures 5" of rain and the water was running over the top rim this morning so I know that we got at least 5" of rain last night. I dumped the gauge late yesterday afternoon.

It's still raining and lousy weather.
