Chance of a lifetime: Wild Bill Hickok: A Gunfighter's Colt at auction
I sure hope an American purchases this, and not some foreign billionaire.
Bid here: https://www.rockislandauction.com/de...ld-bill-hickok

Stay calm Sanders I am heading to the auction to bid on both. Custer pistol? ah not so much but the Wild Bill? that is a must have.
Hotel booked bringing my nurse with me and let the bidding begin. ADD: Just emptied my change jar. $1,450 and that should put me over the top in bidding range.

After you buy it, I'll come over and show you how it's done.
Think about it, though. Your .36 round ball will be a lighter, fly faster and straighter with less drop than a .44 or .45 round ball. I actually zeroed my Ruger Old Army at 75 yards, and that's with a .457 round ball. It shoots much better with real black powder than synthetics at that range. |

Those auctions are a little too rich for my blood.
I'll stick to shooting my repros
