Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Unhappy Trijicon TA31RCO a no go

Sending it back to MidwayUSA for exchange. The horizontal mil bar on the right side was out of focus. Center to the left was nice and sharp, but the other side trended towards a little blurry getting worse at the far right end. Never even had a chance to mount it on a rifle.

Handed the scope to a few others to look through, not telling them there was a problem. Each noted the same flaw.

Must say I expected better quality control for a not so cheap scope.

Funny how things change. At one point my Leupold Mark 4 on my .50 .bmg was the most expensive scope with my Swarovski spotting scope cling that title. I score on the scope for my .416 as a friend was setting up to do business with Ziess and need to order 5 different scopes. That was really reasonable at like $450.00. Then bought the M16 & I bought the Elcan Spectre which even with a great deal was very expensive. Meeting more optic choices I bought 2 Aimpoint Comp4's, a cheap Leupold gold ring then the Leupold for the O3A3 SBR. and the last 2 optics were Trijicon ACOGS. Somewhere in that mess were the Ziess Z-Point on the MP5K & a RMR on the dedicated .22 upper.

To think how far all these scopes have progressed over the years it's amazing.
Like the LEUPOLD MARK 5HD I came across used by the military snipers for 1 mile plus shots. Like holy sheeet.
Navy SEAL Chris Kyle's mile shot was front page news a few years back. now it's its just 'good shot kid' page 7.

Yes, they did. Midway USA gave me an exchange and schooled me on Prism optics like the ACOG. The end of the reticle being slightly out of focus is normal. Trijicon even states this on their website and in the user manuals. How much out of focus depends on your own stigmatism. So, I sent back a perfectly good optic.

Lesson learned

Speaking of these scopes, I have a $99 fake trijicon acog bought off ebay. Mounted on one of my better AR's. Sub one inch groups at 100 meters. Been to the range twice with it and still holding zero with tight groups using my 62 grain steel core reloads. Very pleased.
