Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Curio & Relic Collecting information

Ok let me welcome all of you to the Dirty Dozen Bunkers Curio & Relic forum.Kick off the shoes, relax, talk about classic firearms, and above all else enjoy!

Here I will list information helpful to those interested in getting their Curio & Relic collectors license.

For starters here is a link to the form you will need,

"ATF ATF F 5310.16 (Form 7CR) — Application for License (FFL) Collector of Curios and Relics

Below you will find links to all the required documents that are necessary to ensure a complete application. Applicants may print forms on standard white paper. In addition to the below documents, applications must be accompanied by a signed Certification of Compliance (ATF F 5330.20) for each additional Responsible Person (RP) on the license, if applicable."

Application,

and

Certification of compliance form,

http://www.atf.gov/files/forms/downl...-f-5330-20.pdf

Mailing address,

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
PO Box 409567
Atlanta, Georgia 30384-9567 USA

Print out both forms, fill it out and include a check or money order for $30.Mail it off (better include a stamp!) and the wait begins.Generally this takes anywhere from 2 1/2 weeks to a few months. Also as noted on the forms you will need to mail a copy of this form filled out off to your chief local law enforcement officer.

I would recommend you now buy or construct a bound book which you will record all C&R firearms you purchase while you have your C&R License and you will also record the sale of these firearms as well.

Below is also a link to one you can purchase from brownells that I highly recommend,

http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/sto...S+RECORD+BOOKS

Once your license arrives DO NOT sign it!Print out copies of this license and put your original away in a safe place. Now sign these copies in blue ink and mail or fax(faxing is now legal, ask the vendor before you do this) to the vendors you wish to purhase from.Id also include a little letter to these vendors to let them know of your intent to do bussiness with them.An example of that would be,
__________________________________________________ _______________________________
Dear "Insert company here",

Enclosed is a copy of my C&R FFL.I look forward to doing business with your fine company.

Regards,

"Your name here"

Shortly after that these vendors will be sending you flyer's and catalogs to purchase from.Once you make a purchase that firearm will be mailed directly to you at the address on your C&R License. At this point you will probably go broke buying all your new toys,Enjoy!!!!

A list of vendors is provided in the "Where to buy a C&R firearm" thread.

The BATF list can be found below. It provides a good list of the firearms that are classified as C&R.Note though that this list isnt always up to date.Generally any firearm that is 50 years old or older is considered to be C&R.

Updates up to 2010 for download,

Should you ever have to move or change your address you will need to fill out and mail BATF the Amended form below,

http://www.atf.gov/files/forms/downl...-f-5300-38.pdf

Well thats it for now this page will be updated frequently.
