After a two day absence, WT turned up a little late this morning limping somewhat...and hungry.
You can see how much weight he has lost; it concerns us a great deal. This is Kim feeding him his usual fare. So glad to have him back...even for just a few minutes.

The latest, probably the last, update.
We haven't seen W.T. for several months. After this video was made, he visited us almost every day, twice a day, to be fed. I was able to touch him once lightly on his back, but that scared him enough to leave me in mid-feed. Later he would allow me to sit on the grass on the opposite side of the feeding bowl. Upon finishing, he would just turn his back on me and walk away. The last time he visited the porch, young Beau squeezed past me and chased W.T. away; he has never come back. I was very surprised that Beau would do that...he's very laid back, timid even...and W.T. had the markings of a fighter on him from time to time. A couple of weeks after that we spotted him in a nearby trailer park with some other dogs and a bunch of people. He looked to be quite comfortable there. We haven't seen him since. I miss him...he was part of our family of rescue animals for over a year |

Well that dog sounds like a true democrat anyhow, just came around looking for a handout.
I love dogs but if they do not befriend me they are out of here. |

He never fully trusted us beyond feeding him and providing him with a shelter during last
winters cold spells and downpours. He had the most beautiful grey eyes, but they reflected a deep sadness and, I suspect, pain. Oddly enough, the first few weeks of his residency on our street he sat in the parking lot of the church close by our house, apparently waiting for the fuck-pig who abandoned to come by to take him home again. When W.T. turned up we had three dogs, an inside cat and two porch cats. One of the dogs passed a few months ago, but we now have two dogs and four porch cats: Skittles (6 or 7 years), Frederic (maybe a year), Norman (a couple of months), and just lately, Junior (white & orange just like Fred). |

But we were in our 50's then Sir...
I don't want to kick off and someone have to feel obligated to look after my pets... and if I die first my wife couldn't take care of one... Sucks |
