Canik Rival steel frame
https://www.canikusa.com/sfx-rival-s
Looks nice, I’m seriously tempted to eventually save up for it. Anyone have experience With Canik?

no hands on shooting one but the parts i see coming in look pretty decent. Don't see much in the way of Canik parts going out the door compared to S&W Sigmas so that say's something.

Been looking at them.
Haven't pulled the trigger yet, either buying or shooting

Depends on how you feel about muzzies.

I think I still have that emperor arms 20 gauge I’m afraid to use. The guns manual was printed on 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper. Don’t see that as a positive sign.
Although I’ve heard nothing but good things about Canik, still hesitant. |

I have a canik TPS 9 elite combat. Probably the best trigger pull of anything I've shot. Put a Holosun RMR sight on it and promptly took it back off finding that RMR sights just don't cut it for me and my eyes.

Local range has a TP9SF for rent, might try that this weekend when I go with my wife.

A buddy bought his Canik in 9mm a few years ago. He likes it and says it's accurate. I think his pistol ran about $500.

Stopped at the local LGS today to see if they had any in stock while running errands.
They had them in, feel good in the hand and they have the best trigger I’ve seen. Only issue for me is the slide release is a smidge out of reach for my thumb. They had one to rent but didn’t have time today to shoot. Definitely going to rent one but looks good so far. |
