Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Prayers for my grandparents

Just found out my grandmother was put on hospice last week due to a fall and subsequent head injury earlier this month. Same injury responsible for my other grandmothers passing years ago. I did not find out about this until today.

My grandfather had surgery on his prostate Friday and is still in the hospital. Just found that out today as well.

My uncles seem to be blaming my grandfather for her fall, although from my understanding he delayed his surgery for almost a year because she had/has dementia and could not be left alone and long term care was not an option.

I knew about the dementia ( pretty obvious) but was unaware of everything else. Between my grandmother about to pass, my grandfatherís recent surgery and he feels responsible for her fall( he was at a DR appointment when she fell if I understood right) I donít think he will survive her passing.

Itís a big mess and Iím just a bit in shock. Not sure how Iím going to explain this to my kids.

I'm sorry to hear about the terrible situation you now find yourself in. I see no easy solution and can offer no advice other than be strong and be the example for your kids. But you are already doing that.

I'm sorry to hear that, You know, when folks get old things happen. Your uncles blame their father but did they ever go take care of them?

Unfortunately I have no clue what happened or goes on.

Even when my father had his final stroke before his death several years ago I didnít know for a couple weeks.

As well as prayers for my son-in-law's grandfather, who just went into hospice.

Saying prayers Klauss. I do hope things are working out the best they can and that your grandmum is getting the care she needs. Old age is not easy for anyone in the story and there are always those who want to put their 2 cents worth in but aren't willing to roll their sleeves up and help so pay no mind to them. If you can be there for your grand dad that will be honourable and I am sure he will appreciate it. Its a very hard gig for old blokes when they lose their wives whether it be to death or dementia, in many ways its one and the same. I pray the grace of God be with you and them.

Thanks everyone

My grandmother passed late Sunday, my oldest took it really hard. My grandfather went home yesterday but fell and broke his hip last night and has surgery today . When it rains it pours I guess.
