Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Radically Revolutionary: The RIA 5.0 Pistol

Rock Island Armory has just announced its brand new RIA 5.0 pistol. Watch Roy Huntington gush over this truly revolutionary handgun. A square barrel? Now, that's worth a watch!

I kind of like the whole concept. The squared off barrel seems like it would give it a lot more support to stay straighter during the whole firing sequence.
Might be a new idea for rifles to lock more securely in place??

Armscor 'Rock Island' is able to put out a .45 acp great quality pistol accurate as the best of them 'Hitchcock' for around $500. They outright refused to go with the Komifornia unneeded series 80 staying with the series 70.
The man in the vid. shooting at 25yds. showed some dang good shooting and made this new Armscor speak for itself. I like it and when they come out with a real caliber .45 instead of that 9mm pea shooter I might just grab one.

With the advances in 9mm bullet technology, I've gone from carrying the .45 to the lighter 9mm without feeling the least bit under armed. It's a big deal for me to say that, because I've always been of the mind that unless the caliber starts with a "4", it was too small.

The bigger the better but as you say new ammo can be very lethal. I'm using Critical Defense on my 9.

I'm running the Federal Punch 124 gr. in my CZ75 P01. Very accurate for me in that pistol. I was able to shoot a 4" branch off a dead oak tree with 4 shots from about 20 ft. Impressed the hell out of myself.

As always...shot placement is EVERYTHING.

It does NOT matter if your pistol is firing 155mm shells....if you can't... place steel on target with it. Whatever caliber and pistol lends itself to the tightest groups...RELIABLY...is the one to carry. Although I do place a good bit of stock in round capacity and ease in reloading...if you can't hit the barn....with it....all you are doing is drilling holes in the air. And THAT...could become problematic in a life or death scenario... So... Practice. Never let your ego get in your way.
