Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Question Winchester 3000 20 Ga.

A former coworker called me today, asking if I knew of anyone interested in a Winchester 3000 20 Ga. shotgun. From what he says, it's about 8 years old, and he's looking for get $300 for it. His dad bought it new, and he received it about 3 years ago, after his dad passed. It most likely hasn't had more than 100 shells through the barrel.

Is it worth it, and should I buy it?

Thanks.

Smith & Wesson produced a 3000 model. Maybe that's what he was talking about.

There's a pawn shop about 5 miles from my house has a S&W 3000 12 ga for $325 That's pawn shop asking price, which may be more than I could get if I tried to talk them down.

I'd say your friend did his homework and knows approximately what the retail value is. $300 isn't a deal, but it's not a rip-off either

I wouldn't buy it for $300 because it has been discontinued for decades potentially making parts harder to find. Besides; it's arguably no better or worse than a run-of-the-mill 870.
