Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

gun rough riders

I'm beginning to think I may have a problem.
This is starting to get out of hand. I have more than I need now, and they still have more models out there. Nine shot models, 12" barrels, 16" barrels, rancher carbines....
Great backyard fun though.

IMO, THAT, is a 'good' problem to have. However, should you decide otherwise, you are more than welcome to send me, three or four of them, for safe keeping. I'm not 'picky', and will accept any "given up for adoption".

Very nice collection Sir!

Yes, Heritage uses the same frame for all of their models.
Only ones that would have a different frame would be the big bores, but those were manufactured by Pietta, and are no longer being made.

I like SAA's...I just don't like the grips sized for hobbits. I have an 1860 Army with grips sized for a man. I also have an 1872 Army, open top in .45LC...it also has grips sized for a man. Some call the grip size, "cavalry grips." I REALLY like shooting it. It comes to hand...perfectly. One pretty...popgun. The lines of the 1860 model, Colt revolver, are hard to beat. those lines are mirrored in the 1872 model Colts opentop.

Yep, early Colt revolvers are like eating one peanut..... They become ...addictive.
