Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

In nearly 40 years of gun dealing...I have NEVER seen the marketplace so devoid of products.

Are people gonna storm DC with 1873 lever actions and cowboy action loads?

Was at my local fun shop yesterday. no semi-auto rifles, very few pistols, some bolt actions and pumps. The only ammo he had was surplus 8mm Mauser and 7.62x54 Russian.

Another local rip off shop is wanting 400 dollars for a junk 91/30 Mosin and 22 dollars a box for 1950s Yugo Mauser ammo.

Still have a sealed tin of that Yugo Mauser ammo. It's tempting, but then I don't want to get rid of my Mauser's food, lest it go hungry.

Ahhhh...SPURT!

A smartly dressed US Government employee dropped off my 1873 lever gun this morning.

THIS is one of the better looking toys in my stash....as far as colorful goes. LOVE the color casing. Never had an octagonal barrel anything before... The stocks are straight grain walnut finished to a hi luster. It is snuggled in next to my Yellowboy and my 1894, Win., XTR. Lever guns are a whole new dope addiction for me.

THAT is one purty rifle.

My latest purchase is to pretty to shoot.

I didn't know that some early Winchesters had a positive "lock" on the hand loop cocking lever. It twists to engage /lock down the lever...twist it to unlock it. Neither my model 94 Win, nor my 1866 Win, have one.

Huh.

Would you grab a photo of the lock?

Next time I take it out to fondle it...I will try and remember to do a close in shot of the lever lock.
