Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Collecting the guns of infamous crooks....holds no appeal for me.

George Patton's SAA's.....now your talking. I looked them over as they resided in the glass case at the Patton museum. Exquisitely sweet....and owned by a MAN. A real hero. One nazis truly respected and watched very carefully. Gen Patton understood how armor is used in the attack.

I hate the way huge target sights look on a 1911.

The sights on early 1911A1's....they suck. My Argentine Army model of 1927...that I purchased from an operator, back in 1971, who took if from one of 'Che's surrendering lieutenants before the commy bastard was executed, on the spot, in Bolivia, back in 1969....well they needed improving. I R&R'ed the originals with a set of fixed, MMC, front and rear combat sights. Not high sitting...but a HUGE improvement over the OEM.

Just saying....

I have two 1911A1's. The Springfield 'Loaded' model I used to carry, has low profile 'Combat' 3 Dot Tritium night sights.

My Springfield 'GI' model (no longer made), has the low original style sights 1911's were issued with, for the U.S. Military. They suck! I used florescent fingernail polish and a little bit of tape, to make the notch and front sight stand out easier. Those sights are lower profile than the ones that come on the 'Mil-Spec'.

It went for $242,000.

Nice Colt, though.
