It's nice. Just not $1,000 nice.

I love my GP100, which was made in 1988. It is the one pistol my kids will fight over when I die. Since I paid $300 for it, the $1,000 price point is hard to wrap my mind around, is all.

But it was a really nice gesture by Ruger to memorialize Jeff.

$949 msrp.

All the GP100 models are $800-$900 now. So it isnt over priced

I wonder if it has to do with all the Youtube videos with folks saying how wonderful the GP100 is.

My 4" GP is one of the best shooting handguns I have ever had.. It really likes 125s and has been shooting them into tiny groups since long before youtube even existed.

Damn, I never kept up with the GP100 prices.
I sold mine back around 01' for $400.

Another mistake in selling too early, and not just holding onto it

Got mine before there was a Youtube, also. It's one I won't get rid of. It's just a lot of fun to shoot. Did you know new GP100s have a 4.2" bbl? It is so Ruger can sell them in Kanadia, which bans 4" bbls and shorter.
