Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Thumbs up I am amazed at the amazing computer technology today.

O.K. so being a self taught old guy on these computers I am learning every day about them. My Centurylink connect had literally slowed to a crawl. My call to them about a 15 minute wait and the nice young lady gets on.
Checks things speed etc. and has me do a few connects disconnects and bingo back to lightning quick.
Well I am amazed at the technology no service man at the house needed. Knock on wood.

Artificial Intelligence is here to stay....and control every aspect of your life.

My daughter was talking about some shoes, next she knew the shoes appeared on her cell phone browser, yesterday I asked what the outside temperature was, Alexa came back "It's 78 degrees Fred, have a great day" WTF?

You know all those Ring door bells?...well they talk to one another within a specific neighborhood by using wifi, so cops can track "criminals" down...and it works, they just caught some guys that were stealing Amazon packages not far from here, I wonder how long before they track me for walking out with a rifle on the way to the range.

"Check out my new Ram 1700 super add on widget and this compact whatsit."
Say WHAT? Speak English for God sake.

ADD: I had to call my neighbors kid to show me how to turn this dang new computer on.

Technology has become the veritable double-edged sword, and will continue to be so. IMO too many people are becoming "addicted" to their glowing screens, cell phones, computers, etc etc. As Artificial Intelligence grows exponentially, I can see some things happening in our future that are right out of the predictions of Issac Asimov and other sci-fi sages of the mid-20th Century.

Ironically men will listen to a woman's voice before a mans voice. Fighter planes were one of the first to get voice technology for warning systems in the cockpit like 'pull up' etc.
Now our GPS in our vehicles we have a chick talking to us. 'You have reached your destination.' O.K. now STFU bitch.

I must admit, some things are very convenient, I can be laying down in bed at night and be alerted if someone comes near my door, or if my wife forgot to turn any lights off at night I don't have to get up and turn them off, just a simple command and they are off, it will wake me up in the morning, read me the news and tell me what the weather is going to be then wish me a good day. I can be in Hawaii and see what's going on in my house, talk to my dog and turn lights on-off 3,000 miles away or I could just tell it to dial a number and make a call, or just make an Alexa to Alexa call to my kids at their home.

It's convenient just be careful what you say.
