Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Bought a new F-tree fiddy supaduty big block

Picked this up a couple weeks back, first big block gas truck I’ve owned and towing 15000 pounds it got about 10mpg. Kind of like Chevy trucks a little bit better, but with nothing available on lots and the anti rusty aluminum body decided to buy it.

7.3l gas and 10spd auto, last one on the lot.

F250's and F350's are a beast truck. I had a Chevy Silverado, crew cab dually, with a 454 gas v8 engine, black outside with maroon leather seats, aluminum Alcoa wheels. I put @200,000 miles on it doing gunshows while pulling a 16' twin axel cargo trailer.

Never missed a beat. But ....it was getting kind of long in the tooth. Sold it to a buddy. .. he is still driving it.

I purchased an F350 4x4 with a big gas v8 and a six speed trans. Manual transfer case, locking hubs, rubber instead of carpet. Cruise, air, tilt, great stereo, snowplow ready, non slip 3:73 final drive. I had oversize and aggressive tread tires put on it.

No more hauling my helpers around to do gunshows...so I didn't need a crew cab. Don't do gunshows anymore, either....so the miles are not getting racked up.

It has a closed knuckle front axel. It's a beast. It GROWLS when I push down on the gas pedal....

I like my Ford just fine. You don't buy a TRUCK if you're pussy hearts from not getting 40mpg.

Grandpa told me : "some days a man needs a truck..and..you plow with an ox...you put in extra rows of corn to feed it."

High sitting bastard.

Nice, John. What are you going to do with your old one?

You may end up regretting the aluminum body and 10 speed transmission... my sister has a aluminum body Ford pick-up and has found out how expensive the repairs can be when the insurance companies get pissed over expensive repairs when people open doors into the side of it.

Two small dents in the last two years have ended up being around 7000 dollars in repairs and I would hate to think even what the cost of a rebuild would be on a computer controlled 10 speed auto transmission.

I'll stick with the old stuff. I had a Chrysler 727A 3 speed that I pulled out of a Dodge Power Wagon and had rebuilt to heavy duty specs back in 1982..... 250 bucks and it's still going strong.

I have an F250 V10 with 6 spd manual trans. Funny thing, the V10 prefers much higher RPMs than the old 460.

Isn't your V10 a DOHC engine ? Overhead cam engines are comfortable with high rpm's its where the make GOBS of horsepower. When they come on tbe pipe, you can hear it and feel it. I like the horsepower mine makes. Pulling my trailer or a trailer...loaded.. is a snap. Great pulling torque also.... Lock the hubs, put the transfer case in lo4x4.....and look out. It will pull the nuttsak off a bull Rino.

If you are a truck guy....hard not to love an F350. They are truly a beast.

That's horse crap. They're no more to fix than steel bodied vehicles. Sounds like your sister's insurance company got ripped off. I personally know body guys that will tell you so, also. I own a late Ford F250 crew cab and would have another in a heartbeat.

They're single overhead cams. They pull hard and are long lived. We just sold our '05 F150 with the three valve SOHC that had 300,000 on the clock and it's still running great.

I do miss my "big black fat-butt" F350 dually, though.
