I'm 53 years old. I grew up Catholic, went to Catholic schools, got fed up with church in high school and stopped going. Never went back except for weddings and funerals.
Over the years I've found that some of the worst, back-stabbing, evil, nasty sobs were church-going, bible thumpers. I do the right thing every day. Sometimes I fail. Sometimes I get it right. I don't need some self-proclaimed holy man to tell me what's right and what's wrong. I already know. |

Well AllSeeingEye, the church is the people, not the "building/structure", my beliefs on Christian religion is more inline with the Cathars beliefs that you don't need a priest/minister to have a relationship with the Jesus/Yeshua and the father, to go to heaven when you leave this world all that is required is to accept the gift of love and eternal salvation from Jesus/Yeshua and to be a genuinely good person. I hope some of you feel the same as i do on the subject.

The god in the Bible and the "god" the Judas Goat known as a priest, preacher, minister or Reverend are not the same.
