Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

gun The Misunderstood Nagant M1895 Revolver

https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/the...eid=adf6987ac0

A little article on the absolute most powerful handgun ever devised by man.

Quote:
The Russian Nagant M1895 revolver is usually an afterthought, at best, when the topic of military surplus weapons comes up. After all, the Nagant isn’t sexy like the German Lugers and P38s. Nor does it have the iconic lineage of the Colt 1911 or Browning Hi Power. It did, however, serve Russia and the Soviet Union for 55 years and in four major wars, including the Russian Civil War immediately following World War I and the revolutions of 1917.

Most powerful as in at the time it was made, but it may be the only revolver where you can put a suppressor in and have it work.

I've always seen it as the Studebaker of revolvers.

They're pretty anemic with the Prvi Partizan ammo, but with the Russian surplus ammunition, they're a lot stouter. And yes, they're very quiet suppressed, since the cylinder is completely sealed against the forcing cone.

You have to be just as heavy-handed with them, too.

That's the way I've always looked at them. Never appealed to me. Oddball caliber. Nah.

Bullshit. Sergei Mosin was responsible for almost all of the Mosin rifle, Nagant added the mag interrupter back in that Mosin left out of his design at trials, and added the screw that holds the follower spring to the floorplate. Then he sued to have his name attached to it...

I just enjoy shooting these old relics. Would I CCW them? Nope. Would I carry one just to go woods walking? Yep and have. Are they accurate? Yes, with the Russian surplus ammunition. Do you need a come-a-long to pull the trigger? Absolutely!
