Thank you for your message of truth and hope, Merc.
We had a very solemn but moving service at our church last night; tomorrow morning will be a great celebration.

Thanks, Merc.
Same be to you and your family. Awfully humbling to know the Son of God gave his life for my sorry soul.

Now that Easter is passed, I recollect a period in my life (early 70's) in England when milk was still delivered in pint bottles to your doorstep. Always used to settle the week's bill at the end of the week.
This particular dairy always capped it's bottles with colored foil caps, solid colors ~ a different color every day in no particular sequence. Except Good Friday (and ONLY Good Friday) when the caps were black. A very small gesture, perhaps, but with a ton of meaning and a very powerful message that has stayed in my memory all these years. Thanks for starting the thread, MERC. |

Once again
Today is Good Friday. The anniversary of the most significant , world changing event in the history of this planet. No other event changed the course of the future of this planet like this. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless and watch over the families of the membership during this most holy week. Blessings, MERC |
