I guess those would be stamped receivers or milled? Were the 60s aks blued?

I built Three 1969, Tula AKM's. Paint is much more user friendly. You don't have to keep it "oiled" to prevent rust.

All of the AKS's were blued..Most of the early AKMS's I have seen were painted.
