Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I got a couple cans of the AP ammo they had recently. Came in early WWII vintage ammo cans, perfect for display with my 1919.

Some they were selling was corrosive and some was newer production that was not corrosive.

I wonder how thick of armor it will penetrate?

One thing that I am pleased with is...that the M1 Garand does not have the recoil of the 03 A3.

Ya think it might have something to do with the gas operation and that nice heavy bolt, sliding back and forth?

Yeah, my "Bolt Gun" kicks a hell of a lot more than the Garand.
I have a factory, Sporter Mauser, made in Germany, chambered to .30-06.
Inherited it when the wife's father-in-law passed.

The WWII ammo will have corrosive primers.

Penetration ... I shot one through a solid 8" concrete home foundation one time.

Corrosive is a non issue for me, but I know it is for some. I clean thoroughly and often.

I've shot through the web of a 90# railroad track, with AP ammo.
That's about 1/2" of good steel! :

I bought a few hundred rounds of pulled AP bullets at a gun show a couple of years ago. I loaded some into 30-06 ammo, and some in .300 Win Mag. I think I also loaded some into .308 Winchester for my FAL. The rest I'm saving for whatever I need it for the most.

I bought a box of 1000 pulled surplus AP bullets a few years ago I've loaded maybe 300 of them for my Savage 110. Used it's normal load of IMR 4350 for 165 grn bullets. Damn rifle loves them.
