Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

these are very accurate, and neat little guns. This is the first info I've seen on one, other than handling and firing one of a friends. They're former military, so I assumed that's where it came from. I always told them not to take it out of the safe, just in case.

I remember those!

Never got to fire one though, I think most of them went to the Air Force. generally the "survival" gear for the Bombers and the bigger transports had either an M-4 or the M-6 (as pictured by Pogo) on board. The SAC B-52's had at least one or the other on board. sometimes both.

Actually I think the only ones the Marine Corps had were either traded for or more likely stolen from the Air Force.

BTW Pogo, you can easily remove the Lawyer designed "Trigger Guard" from the M-6, if you do they fold into a more compact package and they do work very well with mittens, just kind of squeeze your whole hand. If you get one, find a way to secure the take down pin, they can be easily lost with use and wear.

Those M-4's are extremely hard to find.

Regards,

Because that weapon is an antique (more than 25 years old, and no longer manufactured, and was produced for the U.S. military) It should be grandfathered. Lets face it, it is not like you could use it to storm your local PD, or anything. I would definetly buy it, and not modify it in any way. Clean it, and put it away in the locker, and once in awhile take it out, fondle it loveingly, and maybe feed it once or twice a year, but for heavens sake DON'T change it.

I got it for $100.00 cash and a Mosin Nagant M-38 I bought from Aztec when they were $49.00. i'm hoping maybe I can find a serial number on an internal part. I think it may be a bargain!

Some old firearms especialy .22's never even had SN's. Check to see if this item is on the C&R list that ATF maintains. It is "published." If it is on the C&R list you may discover that in is not necessary to be concerned about it's lack of a sn because it perhaps never had one!

It had them, I have a pic from one on Gunbroker and I can see where they were sanded or ground off the barrel and reciever. They also removed the writing on the side of the reciever with the M4 survival rifle, Property of the US. E-Gunparts has the recievers in the catalog, but of course they are out of stock, but may get more.
