Got another one.
Yesterday I took my little girl north a couple hours to help me pick out a pup. I lost my big dog last summer and I figured I was as ready as I was gonna get so I got a new one.
I was looking for a male and as soon as we walked in the pen the biggest of the boys went right after my daughter wanting to play. He's the one I liked best so we brought him home. This is the biggest 7 week old puppy I've ever seen. He's huge probably over 15 pounds. |

Yup, He's a Great Pyrenees. They do eat a lot. He's about 15 months younger than the female I got my daughter. Should have some pups next summer.

Both his mom and dad were there when I picked him up. Momma is a pretty little thing like the female we already had. The dad is a monster, probably a little taller than the male I had, well over a hundred pounds.

He's adorable.
Breed with a black Newfie and maybe the pups will be checkered.

That's a handsome fellar. Is your female making a fuss over him?
Last month my daughter bought an 8 week old Border Collie as a companion for her 4 year old Border Collie, both males. They can't get enough of each other.

Looks like a great dog! You're going to have to wear white pants and shirts from now on to hide the dog hair.

Seems to be a good pup. Pretty mellow so far. The female dog wasn't too sure of him at first. She is a little jealous. Shes not mean about it, just pushes her way in between the pup and whoever is paying attention to him. They've been sleeping in her doghouse together.
Don't really worry about the hair too much. These guys prefer to be outside. The old dog that died last summer thought that coming in the house was some kind of punishment. |

Looks like a nice Pyr. The farmers around here use them a lot.
