Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Does it say Made in Belgium on the left side of the receiver and no thumb slot like the Mil mausers had. Sounds like FN Mauser action. If so those are some of the best actions. I have at least 10 rifles with FN mauser actions

Bolt and knob and shroud safety look like this?

Action like this? factory drilled and tapped?

I found a couple C Grossman references. He was Possibly a "Custom Rifle maker" or Barrel Maker

Charlie Grossman's Gun Shop, 115 Catherine Drive, Cincinnati Ohio, as of 1962

Yeah JD it must be like some gunsmith who built some fine rifles and put his name on them I guess? O.K. research takes me to this? FN Belgium C Grossman.

https://www.gunsamerica.com/90478386...r-98-style.htm

The weapon is almost identical to this one? Beautiful weapon a bit on the heavy side but super well made and balanced.

Nah after long conversations with my bud 44044 on the phone I realize how dangerous and bad guns are. Oh I like to look at them and whatnot but I would have just cut it up in pieces. For the children.
Plus my damn cash is running so low I am ready to start cutting lawns.

Default Update on the rifle.

Marked C. Grossman made in Belgium. Cal. 30/06 and a bit heavy. Some small rust spots I guess from improper storage around the action but could be cleaned up.
Local woman needed cash so I got this as collateral. Excellent bore. I am hoping she does not come back I want this weapon.
Bad picts sorry just a low end camera.

JD yes says made in Belgium and C. Grossman?
