Swamp Hunters..
Swamp boys Cadillac..
Already got one buck.. Deer down here are so small, think you can kill 5 a day? Bow season.. They climbed off their stands and spooked a nice deer and a hog.. Just missed them..

Hunting about a 1/2 mile west of me here...
Hogs, deer, and those nice critters, eastern rattlers.. I do not hunt, but for those that do. Lot of game here.. Neighbor in the front there with his son behind him.. He is like Robyn Hood with that bow.. Permit gator season still on.. Turtle season, one a day with trot lines.. Overflowing with wild turkeys.. Cooling down a bit at night, so the rattlers are sunning in the road.. Time to fill the freezers for the winter.. Crappie "Speckled Perch" about to start hitting.. |

I will go out of my way to "not" run over a rattler
or a copperhead, I have "missed" some real big ones while bush-hogging. It is against the law to kill one, I am told, unless they are trying to strike. |

Yes GARANDNUT..
One million acres...
The young feller in the front there is a great hunter... I do not hunt and know nothing about the rules and regs... Our deer are small and I know you can kill more than one.. Lot of wild hogs, but the guys have to bait them up.. They run dogs down here with GPS collars on them.. Sit on the side of the road and blast them when they come out of the forest. Your welcome down.. Sleep on the couch, hunt.. Gun season coming up soon, I guess? Any questions I will ask the young feller next-door, or send you the rule book.. |

Those deer down there are about the size of large dogs. I don't know what they would taste like hanging out in a swamp.
Hogs probably taste good though.

The hogs, once they run them with the dogs, then send the "cujos" in to rip their faces off.. Not really good eating.. Tastes like baked pressure treated wood.. Neighbor next-door here had one of the finish em off dogs.. Now I am not talking chicken wire, like heavy gauge stuff.. My living God. This thing ate through the damn cage. Ate.. Soon as it got out, all it wanted to do was kill something.. He put vests on it for the hog fight.. Protection. Finally convinced him I love animals. But.. If it came in my yard or grabbed a kid, I had to shoot it.. He sold Cujo for like $800, finally listened.. Damn. I walked by the cage and it was chewing on re-bar.. Good Cujo, good bye.. Hey. Your Marine Bro Lee.. End of the road here.. Got a 10 foot gator.. "Where did your Army friend go.. Thought he wanted a ride?" Last edited by 4thIDvet; 10-08-2012 at 02:27 PM. Reason: Add.. |
