Anyone else like Gelato?
I've seen it in stores for quite a while. I finally got around to buying some.
Dang that is good stuff. I could get fat eating that. I bought a pint of raspberry cheesecake and a pint of chocolate mint.

Gelatto is made a bit different than our regular Ice Cream. And yes, it's good. In Rome I went to a place where they make it right in front of you, all natural stuff.wow, we walked down the road and on the way back we stopped there again to get more.

I got some salted caramel Gelato a while back - just a pint.
Turns out that once I started eating it, I couldn't stop. Haven't bought it, since.

Used to be that chicken fat was added to raise the fat content.
That was many years ago, don't know what they do now. |

The butter fat content is what makes it great.& the fact it contains less air don't hurt it.
As far as using chicken fat AKA Smaltz that shit can be eaten spread on bread! If you are ever in a place that does their french fries or potatoes in duck fat I suggest you try them!! |

French fries cooked in duck fat with a giant glob of mayonnaise on top finished off with a bucket of Gelato.
