Lot of good eating in that one, Dor!.. Not for me, though.
A 12 foot gator can do some serious damage when cornered. Brian

Never never never in my rite mind, would I go out there and hunt gators. Nooooooo. I have been offered a hunt a thousand times. Noooooooooo. Sarge. Never in my life have I hunted or killed a gator. The season is starting. My Marine Nam Bro is begging me too go with him. No, No NOOOOOOOOO. A guide hunt costs a thousand dollars. For $55 I can get you in the boat with the crazy Jar Head. IF His L.O. son does not go with him. I have a place for you too stay. But. He can only take you if his son backs out. Or you can go with the drunk neighbors who just go their permit. Dear God NO. You dont get old by being stupid. I aint going out there.

All you need is a good Bowie knife.
I know, because Tarzan never got eaten.

You're right, Boon, and down in the swamps the "other bank" ain't nothing but lily pads. One more reason I wouldn't hunt them in less than a gunboat.

Years ago. They let a bunch of, some kind of big monkeys loose for the backdrop scene. Well the monkeys decided they liked the A.O.. They just tried too dart one over in Ocala the other day. Their still reproducing and kicken. I never saw one. But guys live on the river say they hear them screaming and howling a lot. |
