We finally won one?
I'll believe it when I see it.

Whoa! That would be great if it pans out. Haven't heard the official word though...

I've seen a couple going across the street into the back of the house in front of mine, I was surprised until I talked to my back door neighbor, he said he's seen them too. That's good, they keep the rats away. |

Ahhh..... Four legged Rat Patrol Grey Wolves!
Now THAT would be a sight to see, in your neighborhood. I would like to hear about your Two Legged Wolves taking care of the two legged rats! ?? I'm starting to see signs of the two legged rats around here. Not necessarily in my town, but in the bigger, nearby towns. Cops made a three-City roundup, a while back, snagged over 30 gangbangers, with evidence to support their arrests. All of those pukes deserved nothing better than a bullet! But, once again, nobody asked for any of my opinions. |

Wolves got a place in the scheme of things, I reckon, but it's another deal that each STATE should decide their policy rather than some shitwit bureaucrat in Washington.
This is good news! |

I read later in the year that the people in the Great lakes region might be able to kill WOLVES also! - I hope so either gun I own is good enough to kill wolves .308/.233.

Where do you get the bullets for a .233 ? I've managed to drop a few coyote's with a 5.56 mm and one with my one and only .223 (yes there is a difference) but a wolf, except for the rare Lobo, remember they hunt in packs. I think the FAL backed up by a brace of 15 shot 10mm pistols and a good stout knife or tomahawk would be in order.

I've heard claims that there are some wolves in this area. But I've spent a fair amount of time in the countryside in this area and I've never seen a wolf or a wolf track. I have seen lots of coyotes and coyote and dawg tracks when out fishing and walking through the woods.
And I've seen several wolf tracks in Michigan's upper peninsula. Big friggin tracks.

Wish I could remember the title of that story.
About a guy defending himself from a pack of hungry wolves. It was a very vivid telling and made me shiver a lot. 'Course it was a Wintertime story too. |
