Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default TEST YOURSELF LIKE THE PROS A FUN WAY TO TRAIN AND MEASURE PROGRESS

I'll suggest shooting these without the timer the first couple times.

Then try it with the timer.

Over the years, I’ve enjoyed both exposing my total lack of skill and a glorious feeling of shooting awesomeness — all on the same day. How’s that? Read on …

While heading to the range for a session of consequence-free plinking is no doubt enjoyable, and I highly recommend it frequently, it won’t do much to improve your skills. Think about how all those flashy and highly compensated self-help gurus blather on and on about goals requiring timelines, measurable results and all those other boring things, at least compared to mindless plinking.

While “drills” is a word that summons multiplication table flashcards and similar nightmarish thoughts, I have found one way to train, improve my skills and quantify those improvements — all while having a great time. The secret? Qualification courses.

Marksmanship/accuracy is a VERY perishable skill! If you don't practice constantly, your skill diminshes VERY QUICKLY!

Like most of us here, if given time, I can 'get on target' the first or second shot. If I had to do it 'in a f*ckin' hurry', most likely not!

I need to practice more!

I shoot around 1K rounds through my EDC handguns annually, doing 'drills' and checking functionality (9mm & .45 ACP), and maybe 200 rounds each, through my 'go to AR' and my 6.5 Creedmoor. I constantly buy ammo each week (a box or two of what I stock), but I don't shoot as often as I'd like to.

Like I said above, I NEED to practice more!

You're doing more than most. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people who carry for self defense think that by having a firearm will somehow save them. With the new crop of invaders, military-aged males, these men won't be intimidated by the mere presence of a firearm. You'd better know how to use it, and have the mindset that you will use it. Otherwise, they'll take it from you, kill you and your family with it and shove it up your ass afterwards.

Mindset is everything. Look at that fellow who shot that carjacker several times only to get run over and killed by his own truck. He took his eyes off the threat before the threat ceased to be a threat.

In many places if you use the weapon you will go to prison.
