Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Bought my son-in-law a knife for his birthday

I ordered my son-in-law, the Navy pilot, one of these. A Gerber Strongarm.

After watching the reviews and torture testing of the blade, I was impressed. Not sure what or if he has an issued survival knife, but I got it for him, anyway. I went with the black handled one, even though I wanted to get him the coyote brown handled knife, but those are unobtanium right now.

If you wind up wanting to get one, make sure you buy it from a reputable knife seller. There are some very good Chinese counterfeits on ebay and their prices are almost the same as the American-made knives.

Here's a video on the fake vs. real Gerber Strongarm

My son-in-law is happy with it, for sure.

All he had was an Air Force survival knife for SERE school, which he said he had to use to chop down a tree. You know those knives only have about a 4" blade, so it was a real pain in the ass.

He plans on carrying it for work and for camping.

Thanks for the videos as I decided to plunk down the bucks for the same knife from Gerber (not the chicoms) in coyote as green was not listed. It was less than $70.00 with free shipping & a cold steel blade also.
