Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Wow...compare that to New Mexico's 09-10 hunt report:
Quote:
Harvest: A total of 10,457 deer were reported harvested in the 2009-2010 season. This represents the
reported harvest from all permitted hunters who either obtained public draw, private land-only,
incentive, or enhancement permits (Table 2). Estimated harvest was 13,205 (Table 2) which includes
the estimated harvest for the ‘Unknown’ category (70 deer). This represents an increase of 10.5%
from the estimated harvest in 2008-2009 of 11,948.
Hunters using center-fire rifles accounted for 74.2% of the harvest while 12.4% of the harvest was
taken by bow hunters and 13.5% by muzzle-loader hunters (Table 8). Hunters obtaining permits to
hunt on public land harvested 78.7% of the total while hunters holding private land permits harvested
21.3%.

Send them south. I didn't see a single buck all deer season and I went out a lot.

A fair amount was harvested in Indiana too...

I'm guessing the states with the most deer would be Wisconsin, Michigan, and maybe Pennsylvania?

Quote:
Most Indiana deer hunters had no difficulty finding a prize buck or doe during the 2010 hunting season season.
A record 134,004 deer were harvested across the state, besting the previous record set in 2009 by more than 1,200 according to data released by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Wednesday.

Farmers want more hunters to hit the fields. They are tearing up their corn and bean fields.

That's very true. And Pensylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are even bigger.

I don't believe there are nearly as many hunters anymore as there used to be. When I hunted when I was young it was difficult to find a deer in Indiana. Probably 20 hunters for every deer bagged. Now some hunters are going out and getting one for bow season, one for muzzle loaders, and one for shotgun season. Some even go out and bag one with a handgun. And at least in this area the farmers are asking DNR to extend the season.

There are a lot of deer in the US. A lot more than most people realize.
