Out on a bike run
I was one of about 700 bikes. The photographer was clicking like a madman as I went past.
We even had a police escort out of town. They blocked the roads and waved us through the lights. The purpose of the run? Nothing special - just a good time, folks getting together to share a common interest. The run was sponsored by my favorite bar. We rode about 50 miles out of town to a campground and they served us lunch - burgers and brats, then we rode back to the bar for beer and music. Not a lot of dimocrats among the bunch I was in, either.

Sucks about the guy with the heart attack, but good that you had a good time.
I just got back from a late night cruise with a friend I am teaching to ride on my smaller bike. I got off work at 11:30 PM, came home, picked up the box sitting for me on my porch, changed out the clutch in my gixxer then took him for a night ride. Kept it slow for him, but tried to get in all the things he should be working on. Lots of lights and slow speed turns. Also took him on the highway twice for two short runs to get his feet wet with that. Next weekend is the Devil's Staircase AMA hill climb and he plans on riding up with me and my cousin, so he needs all the experience he can get before then.
