Went to the Town Council Meeting tonight. Second Amendment Sanctuary Status was being discussed
I knew a lot of my neighbors supported gun rights. I didn't realize how many did.
The discussion was on whether or not the town should pass a resolution declaring itself a Second Amendment Sanctuary due to the tryannical new gun laws being passed in the state capital, and in DC. I'd say there were over 100 folks there, which is a huge turnout for this town. Standing room only. Been a long time since I've heard the Pledge of Allegiance recited with such gusto, too. Listening to my neighbors speak and speachify, I was reminded of the assembly meeting in the movie, "The Patriot" when they were discussing breaking away from England. I don't think it would take a whole lot to get those folks to go to war against tyranny right now, as well. Not an antifa in sight, except a retired teacher who thought folks cared about her opinion against it. Several MAGA hats, though. Even got to meet up with another member from this board. He can out himself if he wants to or not.

If one were to listen to the lying media, one would think that patriots were completely surrounded and in immediate danger of being overrun by communists. Reality is much different. Propaganda is designed to make the opposition despair. Their lies aren't working. My experience is that the incessant commie lies and violent actions have actually emboldened many formerly quiet patriotic individuals to take much more active roles in their communities and to voice their opinions much more readily. In plain english ...it's pissed them off!

You have my respect and admiration for attending ......Its good to know that we wont be alone in this fight.
Im stunned that you (new mexico) even have to fight it...but these Marxists and their "news" media are carrying forward their long planned agenda of censorship, gun control and perversion ...just like if Hillary had won the election. I hope to participate in setting this shit right....any way i can.

But I guess we shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth... |

The local city council here is so far up the illegal arse they'll never do anything right about it. And the police and sheriffs dept are all in on disarming citizens....but won't touch the aliens "because that's the Feds job"!
When the dam breaks all of these bureaucrats will be in bunkers or shooting patriots. |

Sometimes I wish I was a better speaker. I had a lot to say, but couldnt spit it out when I got up there.
Thanks for letting me know about the meeting Sanders. I'm sure the big turnout let the town council know how the people in our area feel. |
