Hmmmmm....seems to me... that while the above makes many good points...Any real and honest court should reject any challenge to the current impeachment process. Why GP is posting THIS escapes me....Yes, this current proceeding is unfair, and a sham and a hoax. BUT....the Constitution gives the House complete control over impeachment. The dimokrats OWN this fiasco.

So the House can define the so-called “crime”... any way it pleases, including farting in an elevator. And, it can set up the process any way it pleases. Like it or not, that’s what the Founders wanted. To throw the process into the courts would give any liberal/progressive/bolshevik/dimokratik/communist/royalist...tyrant/president too much power. WHY? (because the president appoints judges. REMEMBER?).

AND........in any case....

You do not ever interrupt your enemy in the middle of his making a huge mistake...

Congress makes their own rules, not necessarily those of the court system. All the president has to do is sit pretty, they have not been able to prove their case without reasonable doubt, everything else is geared to influence public opinion and people care more about a good economy and good jobs than they care about Ukraine.

The Trump and 2020 is going to be a time in history to never be forgotten...not sure but I have a feeling a lot of small distractions are going to keep popping up from now till the end game. I bet POTUS is going to come up with something! I wouldn't be surprised if he has lawyers working up charges from treason to bribery and all sorts of corruption and perversion. For the after party cleanup...Maybe
