Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

twin I shot my neighbors flintlock and that is about the extent of my expertise with these weapons. Bears and a few other members here have them I think? Oh I shot one other one at the range here a percussion rifle. Super cool watching the lead ball travel downrange.
My bestest buddy 44044 sent me the one pistol which I intend to shoot soon. Geez wish I could help yah with the prices but they look to be fair. Nice looking pistols they are.

Repro prices have gone up quite a bit since I first started in them, bought my first one new for under $100, .36 cal colt sheriffs model. They've been going up ever since.

Cabela's may not be the cheapest source, but not a bad price guide (they seem to be average) for whats out there.

Piettas are at the low end. You will pay more for the Pedersoli's and Uberti's

While I'm sure there's a few on this forum, myself included, that are old enough to have purchased some of these for $59.00 and $69.00. I was also bringing home $35.00 for a 40 hour work week. (Do the math) So in 2017, these are good prices.
Now, please don't consider me ignorant, but you're going to trade a Universal M-1 Carbine for $925.00 worth of B/P pistols. Just what is a Universal Carbine worth? (If I told you what I paid for my first Carbine, you'd spit in my eye.)

Not sure what the one I am trading is worth...I call it a truck gun...eats up some ground hogs...I have 125.00 bucks in it...I have two more one I paid 325.00 and 200.00 all universal...I could only imagine what you paid for one according to your pay...I started working the wage was 3.38 an hour I believe.

I know Garands have always been fairly expensive, but have carbines been the same?
