Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Lowes now has reserved spaces for veterans

In addition to 10% discount for active and retired military, Lowes is a military friendly company.

I wonder why Shalome Depot doesn't have those

Lowes is a lot farther drive to get to where i live......Lowes carries slightly higher end merchandise than HD in my experience.

How do they determine who is a veteran & who isn't?

They can't really. There are scumbags who park in handicap spaces. I'm sure they will do the same with veteran designated spaces.

But most people obey signs like employee of the month etc.

Thumbs up

Of course a lot of vets have decals or special plates IDing their service on their vehicles but a lot don't. It's still a nice gesture on Lowes part.

I don't think they are going to tell someone to move if they don't have any military ID on their car. Stores don't even monitor their handicap spaces. But I do have a veteran's license plate on my car.

I agree. It seems Lowes lumber is higher quality than Home Depot.

Home Depot is a joke in my opinion. Their lumber is poor quality. Menards isn't much better but they sell groceries, lawn ornaments, and all kinds of frivolous crap.

I wish Furrows lumber hadn't went out of business in my area. The had a good selection of lumber, professional grade tools and contractor supplies.

At least down here Lowes is better than Home Depot, except is not as close to me. I have seen the Veteran Parking at their store.

Both HD and Lowes like to hire stupid idiots rather than people that are knowledgeable

Old customs die hard. So I'll ask, "Why?"

In my somewhat limited experience of 60 years of driving in GB, Western
Europe, throughout the U.S.A., Canada and Australia, America is the only
country that has multiple choices of license plates for vehicles.

Why for heavens sake? Is it to pander to the individual's vanity...their way of
silently boasting of their college allegiance, sporting team support, military
service, or (in the case of vanity plates) their love life, their political leanings,
their name, their age, etc, etc.

The plate is only a record of registration, so who cares a damn for what the
owner/driver is or was once affiliated with?

I just don't get it!

The state makes $20-25 more for special plates in Flarda. There are many 'look at me' people out there.
