Rip Rooster

This is/was my rooster I called bigboy and chicken. Lost him and one of the hens about 10 days ago. Bigboy provided me with many laughs as folks that came here better have there quick step shoes on...he did not discriminate...I have the scars as do several others. He liked you to hold up your boot and he would strike the sole..don't give him the sole and he would sting your behind. Bald eagles got him and one of the hens pictured. |

About 2 months ago a bald eagle, a turkey vulture and a crow, were fighting over a roadkill squirrel near the Delaware river water gap. As I came over the hill the vulture and eagle went airborne and the crow snatched it and got it off the road. Turned around down the road to go back and see what happens, but the eagle took off and the vulture was watching the crow peck at it. |
