I've always wanted a bunch of projects going so that if I get bored or can't afford to complete one, I can work on another. I don't get any hurry on buying parts, and sooner or later, I will see some parts that are of the quality I want, and at a reasonable price.
If you get in a hurry, you will spend too much or start accepting poor condition parts.

I was reading the manual, and it says the chamber is tighter in the 10/22T than the regular 10/22s, and you can't shoot Stinger ammo in the. It also has a warning about the trigger having a lighter pull than the regular 10/22s.
It does seem fairly light and crisp. I haven't measured it, but I'm guessing around 2-3 lbs. |

That's a nice looking rifle. Put's mine to shame, but it is still fun to shoot.

You'll like it! I bought one when they first camr out, put an old Tasco 3-9x on it and it was easy 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. A nephew got it in one of those complicated family trading deals, but I've been seriously thinking about another. It is now the nephews favorite squirrel rifle. While min remains my match barrel .22 on a TC Contender Carbine. It's much lighter and I've been feeling puny the last few years. Yes your 10/22T has a match chamber, and you may well find it too snug for some brands.I did too, but it was a couple years ago and I forget which brands were problematic, sorry. All in all I'm betting you're goint to like it ... a lot. Regards, |

I was getting ready to ask which brands of .22 ammo most people used in them.

Just my guess -- Wolf (their .22 is made in Germany by Dynamit-Nobel), Eley, and other non-bulk boxes of ammo.

I believe (warning, not positive) that mine did not like the lower priced or bulk Remington, and I think the same with Federals. I recall it liked CCI Green Tag, Eley and Federal Gold Medal, just like mt TC does. I don't recall any trouble with the higher priced Remington or Federals, had no Winchester on hand at the time so I can't comment.
Not much help, and I may be confused with my TC, both Match chambers, etc . 'Course you're going to experiment with everything anyway because that's half the fun of a .22. Regards, |

Heck, I hope it likes the Remington bulk. That is what I shoot almost exclusively in my Ruger Mark II pistol. It sure would be nice if they both used the same ammo.
And that Remington bulk is my favorite kind - cheap. |
