Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default I could post this in either rifle or pistol

I bought this from a local gun shop 10-15 years or so ago. I had been watching it in the store for over a year. The dealer was wanting $250 for it. I kept going back and it was still there. After a little more than a year I offered the dealer $100 for it. (I knew I wasn't going to get it for that). After a little bargaining back and forth I got it for $160.

It's a .22 caliber rifle and .410 shotgun. Kind of a neat little curio. You could get meat with it in a survival situation if that was all you had.

I remember those. Never messed with one, but they look like they'd be useful in a tight squeeze.

I remember when you got it. Something nice to keep in the back of the airplane should you need to make a forced landing in the jungle.

In an old survival article one writer suggested in a survival situation with that tool to shoot one bird with the .410 then immediately switch to .22 to dispatch the other if you encounter two together to maximize your meal. It may have been the opposite order, it was Reagan’s first term when I read it.

Interesting looking weapon. Probably a better bet than throwing rocks or using a wrist rocket sling shot.

Thumbs up Rules of three that gun could be a life saver.

You can survive three minutes without breathable air (unconsciousness generally occurs), or in icy water.
You can survive three hours in a harsh environment (extreme heat or cold).
You can survive three days without drinkable water.
You can survive three weeks without food.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_threes_(survival)

How long have you gone without food? Longest we went was about 8 days no food. Monsoons they could not re-supply us. I started to look at my buddies arm and it turned into a roast beef roast.
He asked I told him we could cook that sucker up. He gave me some crackers and told me to STFU.

ADD: People falling into icy waters have been know to survive and be resuscitated hours after going under. Oxygen gets trapped in the brain. Pogo's gun could be a life saver good grab Mr. Pogo.

Interesting weapon. So you fire it by squeezing that button thing in lieu of pulling a traditional trigger?

It was designed to be able to shoot it while wearing cold weather mittens.

Those are really neat weapons. Yours is a very nice example, John.
