I ordered a new battery for my Aimpoint sight
I bought the sight about 11-12 years ago. And the battery still works but I figure it's time to replace it. There is a spare one in the lid on the battery holder that's never been used. I'm going to replace it too. Less than $5 each, so it's not a huge amount of money.
I don't know how many times I forgot to turn that sight off and left it on for a month or so.

The batteries on my SVD night scope have a charger you wear around your neck and it gets some kind of 'galvanic' charge from contact with your sweat...Russians do the damnedest things.
